Wish list
The kids have the same needs as any other kids. They need toys, puzzles, books and sporting equipment but they also need boring things such as school socks, shoes, toothpaste shampoo and these needs continue. At Hands we are constantly looking at the small and medium sized projects that require funding and address those needs as they arise. If you are visiting the orphanage and would like to take something for the kids the best thing is to get in touch with us prior to your visit and we can let you know what the immediate needs are. If you want to take something along our advice is to purchase it in Thailand - unless it is something unique - as that saves the drama of transport and getting the gifts through customs in Thailand. There are large shopping centres located in Phuket that you will find almost anything that you might care to purchase.
