Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Hands. There are two ways you can volunteer:

1. In Khao Lak (Thailand) at the Orphanage

2. In Australia

At the Orphanage

There are opportunities for people with the right skills to volunteer at the Baan Tharn Namchai orphanage for a minimum of one month at a time.

If you are interested, are prepared to pay all your own expenses and can spare a minimum of one month, please complete the online application form or download a copy and email it to team@handsacrossthewater.com.au.

Once your application is received, the Board will review it within four weeks and will let you know if your application successful. You will be required to undertake a police check and sit an interview with a member of the Hands Across the Water Board.

If successful at interview stage, your application will be forwarded to the Director of Baan Tharn Namchai for consideration.

At any stage of the process, Hands reserves the right to reject any application by any volunteer. Whilst we will make every effort to assist volunteers, our primary concern is the care of the children who live at the orphanage, followed closely by the care of the orphanage team members. We trust you understand.
