2011 Bike Ride

We are taking registrations for anyone interested in joining us on the 2011 bike ride.  If you wish to come along, please complete the attached form and email it to team@handsacrossthewater.org.au. Due to its popularity, we will be running two bike rides next year.

When are we going:  5 - 13 January and 18 - 26 January 2011

How much will it cost:  Approximately $1,750 AUD per rider (plus airfares & insurance).  Cost includes all accommodation, meals, bike hire etc.

What fundraising do I need to do:  Each rider needs to raise $10,000 which does not cover accommodation and airfares but is your entry onto the ride. We provide support in how to do this.

2010 Bike Ride

The 2010 ride has been and gone, but the memories of the ride will last a lifetime.   Many of our supporters followed the 2010 ride via the blog on this website and your support was felt along the way.  It was hard to imagine that the 2010 ride could be any better than 2009, but it was.  I guess we learnt from the 2009 ride and made the improvements for the 2010 ride.  You can only imagine how good 2011 will be.

What the money is used for

Each rider will commit to raising $10,000AUD. The money raised will be used to fund the overhaul of the orphanage run by the Suthasinee Noiin Foundation. To find out more about this project, please visit the Task Force Yasothon website.
